Plans, already ?
So the secondary school kiddos have plans for end of year X'mas. Not sure if I'll be able to join them. But if I'll be able to join, I bet, come midnight I won't be in the hotel room. Hahah. That'll be notified and reconfirmed soon.Thanya, one of the few girls I became close with during NDP rehersals/trainings, already planned for her up coming eighteen birthday. That crazy girl have already saved money to book a club for her birthday party!! Hell! That means I need to get my outfit ready.
The thing bout having plans and making them work it makes one imagination runs wild. Like who are we going to invite ? What theme for the party ? Where should it be held ? What type of food ? Varities of drinks ? What outfit to wear ? What hairdo suits our theme ? And stuff like that.
The process or what we usually call, the meeting, for the party could be one hell of a fun experience. However fun it can get, it can also get tiring and troublesome and even heart ache. Some people they're the laid back ones. The ones that usually take the ride and watch all of us plan. The ones that usually orders around and not helping one single bit. Yeap, those laid back ones. Ah, I really detest these people. They will never understand the process of making a successful party works. They will never EVER understand. But Thank God, none of my party planners are like that.
Then, there're people who are really excited like you are but they ended up being so quiet if YOU want to really make it work. They started to be less excited and decided not to be as excited as they were before and all your hopes and dreams for the party just .... crashed? And what's left are just plain hopes and dreasms ? Ahhhhhhhh, the fucked up feeling.
You think that's all? Nope, I dont think so. When these two type of people exist, there are also the really excited ones that when some others chip in ideas they just dont want to listen. The egoistical ones. The ones that wants everyone to listen to him/her only. And that his/her's idea are the best in the god damn world. The ones that thinks the party should only be smooth sailing just like how HE/SHE wants it to be. The ones that will never understand the meaning of team work.
As for me, I like to the take back seat once in a while. And I'll always like to promp in some questions and ideas. I tend to take the neutral stand. The majority side that is. I guess, that's how one should work in a team, no ? Be neutral and go for what's best for the party. But of course, I've to take into consideration of the others idea and compile all of 'em up and pass it on to my head or chief organizer. I like to be in this position that I'm in. To be able to stand in the middle and observe. I like asking people for their ideas and options in how to make the party a better one. I like hearing people new fresh ideas. It gets me all excited and I'll always sit at the edge of my seat to hear more of what they've to offer. When works are distributed by the cheif organizer, I'll be readily do my job happily! It's just so fun to do many research on the task I was given. It makes me feel valueable in the team. It makes me feels that I'm part of something important and successful. It makes me feel good bout myself to be able to contribute the best that I can for the party's sake. I just feel so delighted!! ^^
So my party goners, specially EOY party people, we'll have to meet up soon and plan it out ya. Let's make the party work! Heartache or not. Whatever it is, we're gonna make this work people! We're a team!! WOOHOOO.
No wonder Miss Angie has been bugging me to shift my attention to PR or Marketing. More soon on that. ;)
