It was expected and mind blowin'. As I watched the numbers increased rapidly at one point and slowly at the other , yes we can I had thought. When the votes suddenly shot up to 284 , he obtained fourteen votes passed the cut off points. He won the election presidency.I am thrilled and over the moon even till now. For all these past few months I've been updatin' myself as though I am an american who lives overseas ( Someone said that to me ) , I've been holdin' on to the hope that he will win and he will change America for the better. And yes he won.
And hell yes, he'll change America for the better.
Someone even said, who knows when you've migrated he's out of the office. I didn't reply but deep in my heart, as long as he have won in my generation ; he has already win for the rest of the centuries.At least I've lived to feel how it's feel like to live in the moment. At least I know how it feels when the idol that I looked up to all these months is finally goin' to be in the oval office. I've lived in that moment and I'm satisfied as it is. And I don't need to live there to be part of it ( even if I am dyin' to do so ) , I am already a part of it. Like I've said many a times, President- elect Obama has touches my life in every aspect. Be it chasin' my dreams , changin' my views on general stuff or even just be what I want to be. He has changed me. And he will change many other lives back in America.
I can never put into words on how great an impact he has in my life. I'm stuck with politics thanks to him. And I know I'm an obesses seventeen year old girl who whole damn life is about politics. Not even my friends are that intrested in that segment like I am. But hey, this is somethin' I enjoy and love doin'. I find pleasure to know what's up or down in other countries. To have an open mind I said to myself.
This intrest of mine, I keep it on my own. 'Cause I know, I've yet to meet someone who is off my age , who is actually has this crazy obession. Ok , back to what I was sayin', side trackin' habis.
I can hardly wait for 20th January when he will be be in the oval office , finally. That will be the day when American dreams be alived. So just hang on for seventy seven days with Bush, it'll be a breeze....
President-elect Barack Obama is now the official fourty fourth President of The United States of America. God, how mind blowin' !! And I'm similin' to myself now , it was really a dream come true.
... Right on! All the way Barack!
