Daddy's girls awesome. I HATE LORD BALCOOONN !! Their dad, Lord Balcon was arrogant and his entire life was filled with so much ego. He even bribe Camilia ; the risin' political star to step down from her MP position before he reveal her dark skeleton that had been kept for years in her closet. Why he bribe ? It was all due that he lost a sit in the Lord position when he was still actively participatin' in the general election years ago. He was clearly jealous of his daughter ! How fucken stupid and selfish can he be ?!!!Fucken bastard. He deserve the brutal and slow death! The more I read bout how he treated his girls cold-heartedly ; to the extend of even sabotagin' his girl's business to make sure his girl ( in particular Venetia ) business will flop, the more I thank HIM for givin' me a supportive father by my side every single day.
What a stupid arrogant dad. Tsk.
The girls were showered with million and million of dollars. They were one of the rich ladies in both London and New York. Their activties be it the good or the bad, will always always head the media within mintues. Their house was flooded with paparazzi every single day with their long lens penetratin' through the green fences that perimeter Huntsford.
Daddy's girls is a book filled with gossip, fashion , modellin' and actin' world. Not forgettin' characters that contributed to suppress the idea of poshy and bitchy to the readers ; intelligently. A book that is clearly chic , will not be completed if there is no hot sex involve. With occasional description of hot sex been written has potrey the true writtin's capability of Tasmina.
I feel extremely attached to the book. Not because it drives me to work diligently for in the book , Camilia was a succussful LAWYER!! The book or rather, the author has succussfully bring across the message of family bondin' and love. The four sisters has been out of love in some stage of their love and succuss stories of their own.
Camillia was a rising' female lawyer turn political star. She set her mind on her goals and she broke up with Ned as he was the distruption for her to clich the MP position. She made it thus far and she will not allow anythin' to get her away from her goals even to the extend of breakin' up with her love. She was also a natural public speaker that swept every single feet in the court.
Venetia had turned numb when Luke left her when she clearly thought that Luke was the one for her. She tend to follow blindly to what her father demand her to do. She was like a toy ; literally.To the extend that her father hold on to fourty five percent of share in her interior design company when her bloody damn father doesn't even know nuts bout design. Till one day she had enough from her bully father and she brokeaway and on her own , she finally managed to open a huge profiteable store in New York.
While Serena, the bitch amoung 'em , found love easily due to money and fame. She left Tom- he was all a girl wants , for Sarkis- who is forever rich , hopelessly handsome and worldly famous. Her life turned three hundred and sixty round when she found Sarkis was havin' threesome with hookers on their four poster bed. She was a wreck right after. No one has ever seen the gorgeous and to die for Serena in a bad state before.
Cate , on the other hand , was the shy and self-preserve one. Beside the fact that her father blamed her for their mother's death , Cate was really not outspoken like Serena nor as clever as Camillia, but her drive to move on in life was really very optismistc. She has this never-die attitude in her. She kept on drivin' and movin' forward even if the obstacle in front of her seems extremely hard for her to overcome. And with that attitude, she finally been awarded the Most Potential Magazine Editor of her own magazine and her magazine won The Magazine of the Year. See what passion could do to one ?
And those girls, had a very strong bond amoung 'em. Despite the fact that their father tried to break their bond and screw their lives , they have always been there for each other. There was never once that they turn their back on each other. Even if Cate's date was guilty for sleepin' with Serena, they never serve their ties in whatever circumstances. They stood together till the very end.
I love this book so especially much I must say. One of the good books that I would certainly keep. I've been blown away by all the dramas and certainly been blown away by how much I've learnt.
Don't give up in whatever circumstances you in and to love and be loved is a gift everyone will be gettin'.
