I was frustrated when shit happened on my side. I skipped my meet up with aDeQ today due to the fact that shit happened unwillin'ly and unavoidable. Heck, it has already happened and there's nothin' I can do.

Stanley was extremely furious today. Puttin' aside the song that he could only remember the first verse. He has been singin' that patheic one verse of the song from monday till of date mind you ! And he sat somewhat behind me and it pisses me off whenever he starts singin'. To think that he has a very good range of vocals. Sheesh.

Yes back to basic. He was furious, no doubt. Betty chow had gave her word to us that we would be takin' our exam in the classroom. She said that she wants us to be seperated from the juniors. The whole lot of 25 of us agreed to her decision. BUT NO!! We had to carry our table and chairs from the first floor to our patheic hall. I was pantin' by the time I slammed the table down. I was not as furious as Stanley was, but I could feel his heat. I swear I could. He was serius and shoutin' and orderin' us to keep movin'. And we were all tired from the long day ( even if it was ony 1230 hours ) we dragged our tables and chairs literally. We been we, ignored the stares and sarcasm by the teachers. Heck, rebellious butch of students, yes?

The school could not uphold their promise. NEVER. Betty chow said that the teachers would take out the topic that we have not learn this year. Simply put, our papers will be modified. BUT NO!! We are supposed to squeeze last mint teachin' to our tiny brain. We even went to the extend of not goin' for Physics paper. Sickenin'!! Tell me, how are we suppose to excel when at the very last mint of the hectic week, we got the information that the papers WILL not be modified at all. I swear, I could just throw pencils to Betty chow now.

Another issue that I've been holdin' back on. We were suppose to attend our Social Studies Skill workshop, yes? However, the date was pushed from Monday to Tuesday. No biggie on our part there. However, it IS a biggie now when it was been pushed from Monday to FRIDAY!!! And Hartee said that Baljid will breathe down our neck if we did not turn up for the final and confirm date, 19/10. IMAGINE THAT. That date is beyoooooonddddd after our Social Studies paper. Hopefully our paper does not include the skills that we will be crictin' on the 19/10, or else.Or else..

You think it's a joke to push the workshop from Monday to Friday ? You think we students have to squeeze to your tight timin' and ignore bout our plans ? OH COME lah. Get real. Even Hartee could not make it. One more delay date, I swear my class of mixture of 14 elephants and 11 lions would go berserk. Sheeesh.

Life has got to be filled with rants, does it ? Oh well, sometime we just have to, let loose.

And oh ! Did I mentioned bout yesterday's trip down to Mum's work place ? Hmmmmmm. Doubt so. Well, mum has the chance to see and smell lawyers every single day. She works for 'em somehow. Hence, yesterday, I sat down in front of Subordinate Court whilst readin' my notes on International Conflicts. I took couple of glances to those laywers that has just finished their hearin' or some lawyers makin' their way into the Court. Believe it when I say, none of 'em was Malay.

May be I just saw that part of the scence, who knows, there's tons of Malay lawyer over in the Family and Juvenille court. Or some Malay lawyer somewhere in Subordinate Court itself. No argument on that. But the thought of not seein' a SINGLE malay was dauntin' I must say. Majority of 'em was Indians and Chinese. Some pretty good lookin' and others better off preparin' and plannin' for their retirement.

I was pratically smilin' to myself when I saw couple of chinese ladies lawyer hustlin' their way in. Askin' each other when's the next hearin' would be. How's the case been goin' on. Ahhh, how I wish I would be in their shoes someday. Mum came out shortly after.

After my shoe huntin', we hustled back to Mum's work place to grab other shoppin' stuff in Mum's office. We saw throngs of law students. As I passed by 'em, none of 'em was Malay. There were Indians and Chinese. And again, maybe my views was been blocked by couple of tall build law students. But still, as I frantically searchin' for any form of Malay law student, it was pretty much in vain.

No future malay lawyers ? I doubt so. May be not a majority. But minority, yes? But what greeted me was pretty downhearted. The security guards over in mum's work place, was made off Malays. Hmmmmm. Two different world in the same moment ? That's how my mind works if you wanna know.

There you have it, our future justice dealer. Our future lawyers that someday would earn 30k monthly waitin' for their lesson to learn. And on the other hand, two Malay Uncles doin' the security jobs. I do not blame nor look down on those Uncles. It occurs to me that's all.

Is that what my future will hold ? Is that what my dad gonna do ten years down the road? When the same capacity and same brain people are earnin' 30k and here I am lockin' doors of the courts or cleanin' tables over in the Hawker centers. Wooo, that's scary. Suddenly, my purpose of livin' comes to flame.

Get the best Education and get THE job.

Without me knowin' it, the topic that was brought up over in Physics lesson came to my mind when I sat down in mum's office. Whilst eatin' my brownie slice , Mr Cheng's lecture played. He had explained what was his Major. It was Traffic Engineerin'. He carried on sayin' on why he turned to teachin' when he could get a better pay. While not exactly better, but a well off paid then teachin'.

What he said nearin' to the end of his words was that. He stressed that start plannin' what we students want to do in the future. And work towards it. However, the most important skill will be, Work smart. Why? He had questioned.

Mr Cheng: Degree is the key to the door. Yes, degree is important. It gets you the jobs that you want. Degree secure you the job that you want. But do you think your work actually depends on your degree? Or does it depends on how well and how smart you deliever your work to your bosss ? I dare say, when you've the degree in your hand. How much you will get , how far you will go in your field pretty much depends on how smart you can deliever. Work smart 4E. Cause that will bring how far and how's your wages gonna be like.

Handful to take in, yes? I could not agree less. People have been sayin' to me to work smart. Partner especially. To each of his own I guess. How you look in education and how you go through our life due to circumstances and experinces that you gained along the way. I guessed my Sir has learned that workin' smart is the trick. As for me, I find it workin' hard and smart comes in handy.

Ms Tay agree that Life is unfair.
Mr Cheng had said work smart is the trick.

As for me, life comes in daily and I've learn to take it in willin'. Karma is the medician baby. I am happy so far.

Yes Nad. Thanks for askin'. And thank you so much for goin' through Terawih session with me for this few weeks. I am glad I've found a true carin' fren in you. Who would ever imagine two strangers are now two close galfrens that will travel the world one day. Yes my dear. My life has been great so far. Alhamdulilah. You know what shits I went through. You know how downhearted I was. Alhamdulilah, I've made it through. And I am pretty much happy now. Have fun with your date tommorow gal !
