Saturday was spent with preparations for the big day. I spent my evening and night with my galfrens. Chombie, LC, Ain and Sis Dewi. We were all workin' our asses off to make our stall look presentable and attractive. Sis Dewi and I were told to be sellin' Nasi Lemak. Thus, we were the ones that would be goin' in and out of the kitchen. However, on that Saturday, we spent most of our time, slackin', talkin', gossipin', dancin', singin' to any music that we heard. Do not mistook us, we did our work, THEN we slacked. Teeehee.

Ain is my new found fren. She kept on touchin' my hair sayin' she found my hair smooth, nice, silky and what's not. That girl just could not get her hands of my hair I tell you. She would be puttin' down my frinch or touch my head with her grinnin' smile. And thus, I promote my lovelovelove shampooo. Ginvera Green Tea. Ekekekkeke. That night was spent with laughter in the air, fresh jokes been created out of nowhere. However, Chombieee and Ain had to go off early as they needed their rest for the big day. Sis Dewi and I for that matter, has to stay behind and wait for Nyah to brief us. And guess what, she came after eleven at night, hokay ?! Oh boy. Despite of her drivin' her car fast, she still arrived late. Tsk.

There were couple of shots that we ladies took, do bear in mind we are not in our pretty stage okies ? It was a hectic night, what do you expect pal ?

Me and Ain. =DD

Lc, Me, Chombie and Ain. Pick your choices boys ! Teehee.

Finally, our big day. 1st July, the day where all the Alamak Chatters, 69ers, Marbok Platoon, join forces and gave our elite help to Darul Mawa Home for the Children in Eunos. I for one, lovelovelove kids. I adore 'em. Therefore, I made that paid off effort to woke up early. As early as 5.45 to get ready for that big day. I felt their need. Financially and mentally. Darul Ma'wa as been a great home for those wonderful yet normal up bringin' kids. Kids who has lack the love and attention from two humans that we all called-parents. For whatever reason they were sent there, are of their own. We or I for that matter, has no right to know why on the blue earth kids been sent there. My intentions are good, be there, help out, give all I have got to all those kids that needed help badly. And I proud to say, I have did it. Twice in my life. I have given my sweat and effort to the Carnival. And I proud to say that, we, Alamak chatters, as helped out and gave light and love for those loveable kids.

It was such a hectic day. My stall mates could be seen runnin' in and out of the kitchen. I been sent inside couple of times to help out with the packin' and preparations of Nasi Lemak. There were sum sort of human chain in the kitchen. From pourin' of the rice to cookin' of the eggs to bringin' out of the packed Nasi Lemak. We even cooked chicken wings on our own! Oh boy. I am all excited and tired in a go. Excited to see our efforts and our cookin' and the guru teachin' from cookin' the rice to packin' of the product as been a great flow ! Orders has been comin' in strong. It grew stronger when those people who have ate, came back and ordered more! Thanks to Nyah and her mum. Both daughter and mather effort really paid off. And just so you know, Nyah's mum has her Nasi lemak shop of her own over in Yishun. Amcm kau org ? Mahu serang mak ayam kapaaaaa ? Ekekekeke.

And guess what ! Anuar Zain was one of the invited guests. OMGGGGggggggggggggggggg ! My mum, dad and angel came down to support Alamak chatters, Darul Ma'wa and of course Anuar Zain. Especially my mum, she was grinnin' away when Anuar sings. She kept on sayin' Anuar looks handsome. Oh mum ! Heheh. I was in the kitchen initially when mum called sayin..

Mum: Akak, kuar skrg, Anuar dah nak datang.

And guess what ? I screamed in the kitchen ..

Me:AIN! IZA! Anuar ! ANUAR ! *dashes off*

And I really mean dashed ! My day was awesome, and Anuar got to made it over the moon. Awww.

There were a segment that I missed out, and I do not regret missin' it out. It was when Didi sang the most sentimental and valued songs. The song that brought tears in my eyes even I was far far away from the stage. The song that remind me of my Late fren, who happened to be the back bone ogranisin' the event. My Late fren who has been the voluenteer for all his life. My Late fren that is still loved by all. Erti Persahabatan.

Alamak chatters whom, knew Late SharunNizam well, was asked to go up the stage and sang together with Didi. However, Nyah called and she needed 5 people to be in the kitchen. I went in. I went out again as I have to show my mum around. When Didi sang the first word of the sentimental song, I broke down; silently. Mum asked if I was hokay, I just nodded. She asked if I would want to go over to the stage, I discreet. No, there's no way I could put my feet on that stage with that song on air. I would cry buckets. God, Naj get a grip will ya ?

Chombie, Cinderella, LC and Ain helped out even though they were from different stall. They are really a bunch of a good helpin' hands gals that would always go the extra mile to help us out. Seriusly babes of mine life, thank you soo much ! Thanks for the day, and the laughter in the kitchen, thanks for wipin' off my tears on the train, thanks for helpin' in the kitchen, THANKS a LOT. A WHOLE LOT. Thanks.

We are all one big family. A family with no limits to age, race nor gender. We have come together with an aim, and together we complete it. We are a Team. Together Everyone Achieve More. Insyah allah, with all our endless effort, the kids would felt happier, safer, and stronger in facin' their life ahead. From Alamak chatters to Merbok Platoon, we have all grew sensitive towards these kids. Be it in helpin' out in the back stage crew, security, and stall handlers, we have all gave our love and support in a total different way for the kids.

I have faced my days with whole lot of fun, sweat, effort and laughter. There's no way for me to trade yesterday to any other day in any part of my life. What I felt yesterday, was anythang beyond what I could put down into words. Voluenteerin' is and will always be a gesture that would be paid off with much love and care. The experince and aftermath, will always be beyond comprehension. I was and still am glad that I have been given the opportunity to show how loved and how cared I am towards those kids. And that makes my feelin's to travel to ChiangMai Thailand even stronger.

On another total different note, I faced another downpour yesterday. In which I did not wish to talk more about it. I met up with Tracy just now, we talked and pooled for awhile. We were both at the verge of breakin' down. However, due to the huge number of people over in Jurong Entertainment Center, we held back our tears. Both of us has been facin' non stop problems. I for that matter, does not only faces relationship/heart matter problem, but other problem that I have yet to let it all out. Tracy for once, almost cried in front of me.

She told me, let go and get to know some other guy. I for once, is in a dilemma. Let go ? Or, hold on. I have yet to see the path that been laid down in front of me. Light has yet to be shine.

Tracy dear, I am in the edge of breakin' down. And I know you too. Let face this obstacles with our head held high okies ? Do not give in nor hold on. Just go with the flow, and let all the truth been spoken in time. It takes a great deal to face any problem with our pride darling. And I know you can pull through this moment of truth. Let's encourage each other, as we need each other in this path. Our frens, yours and mine respectively will always be there. You're my fren babe, and you know how to reach me. *wink*

... pool sum day aye ?

p.S: Pictures will be upload when I grab hold of every pic taken on our Big Day. Wait people !
