Books. Books, is where I turely understand the worlds demand, and the knowledge that I learn outside school hours. Beside that, I finally know how people reacted to certain setbacks that are never fail to color our lives. Heartbreakin' moments, lost of beloved one, been in World War Two, controllin' a fighter plane, are the examples that I have read on, and understandin' how it get bout , and learnt how each character comes to live with their own ways of reactin' and respondin'.

I started readin' when I was pretty young, at the age of 3 I must say. Mum bought lots and lots of Kiddy Kid books for me to improve on my readin'. Dad recalled that, Mum would hit down to the Popular or Library to get good readin' English book every Friday. I would then read aloud to my parents and granny. Even the latter do not understand a single word, I make her sit and listen to my oral. I have been readin' then, and till off today. And mind you, my mum specifically bought/borrowed English book. I do not speak good own language. I even communicate in English with my parents.

Years past by, and I learnt to buy and borrow good books on my own. I have been gettin' money for my good and hard work in School. I would put aside $50-$100 for books. And boy, I did not know my old time favourite author would cost a boom!

The Rising Tide a job well done , written by Jeff Shaara.

It cost me $49:95.Tsk. Now I know, how much Dad spent on my besday present. My first encounter was during my 5thteen besday. I dragged Dad to Broders for my Besday present. I found To The Last Man, also by Jeff Shaara, and I fall immediate in love. I am all history and war person. Thus, his boook suits my wants. Dad paid the amount without me lookin' at the price. Second book on him, I bought it with my money, and it chocked me. I could not believe it cost that much. That amount could buy me a Top from Topshop! Tsk. However, for the love of it, I just bought with no regrets! And I thank God that I did not hestitae to buy it. Even thought there was a slight hestitaion. Heh. I did sum research on him, and with the help of Mr Tang, I found out that, Jeff's father is always a Civil War author ! WOooooooooooooooooooo. I looked out for Michael Shaara's Book and I got hook on again. This time round, The Killer angels do it's trick. I am pleased that I found their books. It gives me a deeper understandin' on why there's war, and how soliders , generals , and President reacts on that hectic period of time.

I started readin' Malay books when I did not score well in PSLE certificate. Mum was quite dissappointed even though she tutored me for Malay. I would get confuse with the meng- men- mer- me- ... -nya -kan and whatsnot. Basically, buta huruf. I found it hard to understand a malay phrases or words. I would give up easily and not askin' my mum for help. I found malay lame and retarded. However, my besties in school are good in Malay, and they would always score for their exams or oral. However, secondary two, it was a whole new year.

I got the hightest for Malay, and I got the best composition for my level. I was delighted ! I was frantically excited ! I was over the moon ! The feelin' was as great as gettin' a new set of mobile or a new set of pretty sassy clothin'. I was beyond words. It was then, that I know, from gettin' a 49-55 for a subjects, I could get a 70-79 for it . It was such a huge leap! My mDm called me the livin' proof in front of couple of parents. Proof off what ye may asked, proof that books are the source of knowledge and self-learnt outside school. With books ye could learn much more words then been in school for 8 hours. And boy, was my mum and dad proud of me or what ! And I am glad that I have made 'em proud and will be makin' 'em proud soon enuff. Then on, I know, nothin' is impossible, if ye believe in yeerself, and give what it takes to be the elite.
Stop bout me braggin', chombieeeeeeeeeeee beeeeee, tengok lah tu !
