FLORANCE CAME TO SINGAPORE!!! YAY!! YAY!! Excited me.Heh. Florance was my sch's tour guide, mother to 30 students that went over to Chiang Mai. Let me bring ya'll there ......Even before June holiday last year, 36 of us went to Chiang Mai for service learning. We went to Nawai Village to give them our hardwork. And there we were. Nawai.
It is such a peaceful village. It put anyone's soul down. I or should I mention, all of us love it there. There is no assignment to think about, no homework, no proposal, NOTHING. It was such a peaceful and loving village. We began our werk on the 2nd day. We were to build road, and bring all the trees down for the upcoming school that was suppose to be build.
Few days we spent on that. After werking, we taught students to the evening. Trust me, I say this not beacause of the sake of saying, but the kids are smart. Smart for the age actually. Really. I swear. They are very eager to learn, and are always on the edge of the feet to learn from us. I was so touched that I cried whole heartedly the last day. I taught students from the age of 10-12. Mixture of boys and girls. Adorable.Awwwww. They are very excited when they saw us the every 1st time. Excited with the 15 year old studentsssss that taught them. And we are very much nervous then excited. =)).
I was soo ill that i missed performance nite. I missed the chance to meet my students for the last time. I miss it. Silently, I regret. Really. I do. Haix. Just blogging bout them, brought tears to my eyes. We are so fortunate to have a proper school, proper equipmet for sports, proper unifrom, and we took much advantage about everything that governments offers.
If only I could be there again, I will, and I WANT to. No matter the amount I got to pay. I know my parents will give it, even thought they hestitae. I WANT to be there again. I want desire to teach them, again.
I miss Nawai so much. I miss my students too much.
